Smith visit

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile, things were busy with the Smiths in town and erics grandma Nadine's funeral. We had fun seeing the family and having a sort of reunion despite the sad reason that drew us together. But I guess that's why funerals are not always so sad. I will miss Nadine very much, and I've been impressed and proud of Eric as he tends to qt. I love you hubby deep down and fully, for all you are...caring, a man of his word, putting family first! Anyways, it was fun for the kids to see their grandparents and to then see aunt Steph and baby Sammy! The kids had so much fun making him laugh, I was about to come between them and the baby a few times then pulled back realizing he was happy, laughing and loving their silly antics. He's used to it with his big bro and sis after all...it was very nice of Eric's aunt to host a couple great family get togethers. It was nice and I loved seeing Rick, Denise, Ronan and Tristan! Got to meet the new baby, who reminded me very much of Levi with his cute, kissable chubby cheeks. Now Levi's been sick several days with cold, eyes cruddy, puffy and now today a cough, vomiting and telling me his ears hurt. So I took him in and he has an earache on the right ear, a bad one. So now he's on antibiotics. It's amazing how fast they work after not having eaten because of the vomiting this morning, he ate two whole things of yogurt! So glad my little honey is turning the corner, and hopefully will continue his recovery over the long weekend. Have a happy memorial day weekend! Take care and stay safe too!
