Cute things the kids said lately
Levi and I were sitting at the table at breakfast, Levi points to my coffee mug and says, "what's that ?" I say, "coffee" he points to his glass of water and says, "I got coffee too!" then raises his glass and says, "cheers!" he wants to cheers all the time. His cereal bowl, his spoon, etc. it's very cute! Btw, he knows the difference between coffee and water he ws just having fun being silly!
We just got back from a trip to the nature preserve and went on a walk/hike through the woods, kaylee had a little toy from rapunzel, she kept saying as she was scared we didn't know which way to go, "my little spike is not so sure of the path. Spike thinks we better head back!"
Yesterday we went to my parents and Kay and Levi had a lot of fun making Halloween masks with their grandma d. Mostly I made Levi's but Kay did hers all by herself. I'll post some cute photos here in bit! We also had fun at the park together and playing in their backyard!
Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Eric was sick and I notice I tend not to post while there's sickness IinThe house, things get too busy! He's feeling better today and I am happy for him and relieved for me!

Levi's birthday, more Labor day, Rainy day and State Fair day photos
Levi had a lot of fun on his birthday. He enjoyed his Mickey Mouse cake. He enjoyed having his family to play ball with and the fun of having the neighbor girls there for gift-opening.
He had his 2 year appt:
He was 59 % for weight
He was 85% for height
He was 99.95% for head size. (along his own curve though).
They said developmentally he is "perfect." Their words - not mine!!! :) He even bought into their claim that it was a misquito biting him at the lead test - and thought it was a funny bug. He is very brave sometimes!
Earlier in the weekend, we had fun with his friend neighbors playing in the yard, playing ball, playing playdoh and and dancing in the living room!

Happy 2nd Birthday Levi!
Today my little boy is turning 2! I can't believe how much you've grown Levi. This was you one year ago, my you are definately looking like less of a baby. And you are acting like less of a baby, running around doing everything you sister is doing, throwing a ball whenever there is one available (and maybe other things too), you are doing a great job talking. You melted my heart this morning when you said , "Mom I love you" on your way out the door. You have been such a joy to me, your daddy and your sister. We are so glad you are part of our family. I cannot wait to see what you will do and say this year. We love you sooooooooooooo much little guy. Happy Birthday my honeylove!

Our labor day weekend
We had such a fun weekend!
Thurs night I got to go out and get Levi’s
presents and when I got home Eric and the kids were at the neighbors and we got
to celebrate Eric’s birthday. The kids played and the adults chatted at the
bar! It was super fun!
Friday I had off and I took the kids to a new
park which was awesomely huge and then to the beach. Then after nap they we went
over to the neighbors again. (I managed to throw my back out after much
activity)
Sat I took the kids to the park, a friend came
with her daughter and son over to swim and have lunch. The kids napped well and
then we went to the State Fair! They went down the giant slide with Eric, on
the merry-go-round and as a family we took a calm Kaylee and a petrified Levi
(he calmed when held) on the teacups. We got a bunch of food with our coupon
booklet and had a great time!
Sunday we took Eric back to the awesome new
park where we happened to see same aforementioned neighbors AGAIN and played
volleyball with them after the kids had a great time on the playground and we
had a picnic. Then naptime then our friend’s came over after naptime to swim
and their little daughter played well with Kaylee and Levi and we fawned over
their new baby.
Monday we went to a family celebration for
Labor day and my Grandma’s birthday at my cousin’s house. Then nap then at
night I was trying to recover from my back injury so we laid low, had pizza and
watched a movie (Madagascar 2).
Hope you had as much fun as we did on the long
weekend! Can you see why I threw out my back with all that activity and on top of it a lot of cleaning and chores that normally not part of my schedule.
It’s amazing to me that we are able to enjoy the pool still. Maybe by
next weekend we’ll finally have it closed for the season!
Today is Kaylee’s orientation at preschool.
Eric is taking her. She is very excited and lucky little Levi gets to go along
too and check things out. I know she will love being back!
